Combined Barrel/Pole Description and Rules

Rules for Combined Time Award

  1. End of Series Combined Time Prize

The objective is to have the fastest combined open barrel and pole times of the series

  1. Rules and Requirements
    1. Must participate in three out of four races to be eligible for the Combined Time prize
    2. A horse may NOT be shared with another rider
    3. If the rider is using multiple horses it is the riders responsibility to designate which horse will be used for what event and which horse will be used for the Combined Time Entry/Entries
    4. Youth times will only count toward the Combined Time event if the time is carried to the open
    5. One horse may be used for both barrels and poles; or two horses may be used (one for each event)
    6. A knocked down barrel or pole will result in a “no time” for that event. However, it will still count as an attended event
    7. The rider must participate in both barrels and poles to be eligible for the Combined Time prize
      1. If the rider no times in barrels they cannot withdraw from poles; this would count you as ineligible for the Combined Time prize.
